The exhibition “Statues Among People”
20. 04. 2026 - 13. 05. 2026
From April 20 to May 13, 2026, the central zone of Bory Mall will come alive with an exhibition by the prominent Slovak sculptor Ján Ťapák. The artist, known for his unique visual language and sense of symbolism, brings his works to a place where we would not expect them – directly into a shopping and entertainment center that pulsates with everyday bustle.
The exhibition “Statues Among People” presents a selection of his work to date. Ťapák’s works are characterized by spiritual depth, subtle irony, philosophical overtones, but at the same time remain accessible and human. Their presence in an open public space allows visitors to encounter art naturally and at a moment when they least expect it, but perhaps need it most.
The artist decided to bring his sculptures closer to those who often do not have the time or opportunity to visit galleries. The exhibition at Bory Mall therefore invites you to pause, to quiet reflection, and to a personal experience that connects everyday life with cultural enrichment.
